Celebrating Love at the Loft

Andy and Amy’s wedding at The Rabbit Hotel was one of those days that instantly sticks with you full of energy, gorgeous little details, and that laid-back charm the venue is known for. The Rabbit is a regular venue for my wedding videography - whilst they don’t have an official recommended videographer, the planners who work there often mention my name to their couples.

The moment you arrive, The Rabbit sets the tone with its stylish interiors and that beautiful lakeside area overlooked by the ceremony space (the boat house), and these two completely leaned into the vibe.

Their morning was all laughter and nerves in equal measure, with the kind of natural moments that make filming a dream. The ceremony itself was intimate and heartfelt, carried out by Danielle from One Fab Day, surrounded by warm tones, soft light and their closest people. Once they stepped outside for portraits, the whole place turned into a playground - quirky corners, lush greenery, reflections on the water everything just came together effortlessly and was captured beautifully in her editorial style by Keri-Leigh (https://theartisanphotographer.com/).

The reception was exactly what you’d expect from Andy and Amy: relaxed, fun, and packed with personality. From the speeches that had everyone wiping their eyes to the dancefloor chaos later on, it was a day that never once lost momentum, even when Andy performed his stunning first dance move of lifting Amy up onto his shoulder - this turned out perfectly and we were fortunate enough to practice it with him whilst I filmed an intimate portrait session of the stunning couple at the hotel’s award-winning spa.
